Woman Speak is a non-fiction work telling of a destructive and malignant relationship between myself and a psychopath robed in a spiritual man's clothing. The twisted, tangled path this relationship took leads into the realms of emotional, psychological, and financial devastation.
This book gives unique insight into the modern-day version of an ancient tale. While reams of material exist about physical abuse, Woman Speak covers the more subtle forms, the ones unseen by neighbors, the sicknesses that can be so hard to detect until too late.
In 21st century America, unconventional spirituality grows by leaps and bounds. At the same time, the number of those who misuse power and knowledge also grows. Woman Speak shines a beacon of light into that dark world, the underside of control, so often utilized against unsuspecting spiritual seekers. This story exposes both my shame and my ignorance. I seek to share Woman Speak as a way of helping other people in similar situations that they might escape sooner than I did.
